The APA agreement for the financial year 2023-2024 has been signed between the Power Division and WZPDCL. In the signing ceremony of the agreement, Minister of State for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said that modernization of the departments should be done by connecting patriotism with professionalism. Initiatives to increase team work should be continued. Team members need to instill smartness and competence and an attitude of professionalism.

The Minister of State said this while speaking as the Chief Guest at the signing ceremony of the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) of the Power Department for the financial year 2023-2024 with the departments at Vidyut Bhawan today. He said that the power department has always done well but needs to do better. Quick decision-making and modern management cannot be compromised. There will be challenges, we have to move forward by facing them. The targets given by APA must be completed within the desired time frame. 

Today, 17 heads of departments of power division signed the APA with the senior secretary of power division. It may be noted that the implementation of APA in the power sector ranked 2nd in FY 2021-22.
